The SWANStor(R) Multiprotocol Option (SMP option) is an optional software package geared for AreaBe Japan, Inc. SWANStor(R) SUITE product line. SWANStor(R) SUITE provides you the means for a secure access to your internal web application from an external host. Coupled with the SMP option gives you another, powerful secure means to access applications other than web applications by using your own system client software. This, for an example, telnet server with your telnet client, FTP server with your FTP client, mail server with your mail client, and so on.

The SWANStor(R) Cluster Option is an optional software package for SWANStor(R) SUITE version software.
The Cluster Option can not only keep your existing network environment and security policies intact but also provide a more flexible, secure remote access environment. It works to establish a scalable system for both small and large scale enterprise environments.

	Simultaneous Accesses The Cluster Option enables multiple SWANStor(R) Gateways to work together as a whole. It does this by properly load balancing the load to various SWANStor(R) Servers on a LAN. It, therefore, improves the SWANStor(R) performance by handling a high degree of load and can support up to tens of thousands access users.
	Redundant System In case a device encounters an irrecoverable failure, it can perform a failover switch which would not affect the SWANStor(R) operation. This enable you to establish a more flexible, redundant system. SWANStor(R) can adapt to customized hardware or environments such as blade servers.
	Accessing Oracle Database The function to access Oracle Database is supported.
